What We Published#

EB5 Status now offers a resource library of 6 downloadable guides for investors, attorneys, and advisors working with the EB5 program. Each guide is available in 7 languages: English, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Hindi, and German. That is 42 PDFs in total, each branded, sourced, and free to download.

The 6 Guides#

The EB5 Process: Step by Step from Petition to Green Card. A complete walkthrough of every stage: choosing your investment path, preparing the I 526E petition, navigating the visa bulletin, adjusting status, living as a conditional resident, removing conditions, and qualifying for citizenship. Approximately 18 pages.

I 526E Filing Checklist and Common Mistakes. The complete document checklist organized by category (forms, identity, investment capital, source of funds, project documentation, derivatives), plus the 12 filing mistakes that most frequently cause delays and RFEs. Approximately 16 pages.

How to Choose a Regional Center: 15 Questions to Ask. A scored evaluation framework covering USCIS designation status, compliance history, job creation methodology, capital stack position, repayment track record, management background, and contingency planning. Includes a comparison matrix for evaluating multiple projects side by side. Approximately 16 pages.

Source of Funds Documentation for EB5 Investors. Documentation requirements for every major funding source (salary, business, real estate, securities, loans, gifts, inheritance), country specific foreign exchange rules for China (SAFE), India (LRS), Vietnam (SBV), and South Korea (BOK), and the 10 most common RFE triggers. Approximately 18 pages.

Tax Planning for EB5 Applicants and New Green Card Holders. Pre immigration planning strategies, the tax trigger date, worldwide income obligations, FBAR and FATCA reporting, PFIC rules, how the EB5 investment shows up on your tax return, and the 7 costliest mistakes new residents make. Approximately 16 pages.

Children and the EB5 Visa: Aging Out, Derivative Beneficiaries, and Education. How children qualify as derivatives, the aging out risk with worked CSPA examples, risk assessment by country and category, protective strategies, and the educational and financial benefits of permanent resident status. Approximately 14 pages.

Why We Built This#

Much of the information EB5 investors need is scattered across government websites, law firm marketing pages, and forum posts. Some of it is accurate. Some is outdated. Very little of it is available in languages other than English, despite the fact that most EB5 investors are not native English speakers.

We wanted to create a single, well organized reference that investors and their advisors can trust. Every statistic in these guides cites its source: USCIS quarterly reports, State Department visa bulletin data, FOIA responses, or the EB5 Status dashboard (which itself sources from these same primary records).

Languages Available#

Each guide is published in all 7 languages supported by EB5 Status:

Spanish (Español)es
Simplified Chinese (中文)zh
Korean (한국어)ko
