EB-5 Eligibility at a Glance

Investment Requirements

  • $800,000 minimum for TEA (rural, high unemployment, infrastructure)
  • $1,050,000 minimum for standard (non TEA) projects
  • Capital must be "at risk" in a qualifying U.S. commercial enterprise
  • Investment must create at least 10 full time jobs

Documentation Requirements

  • Lawful source of all investment funds must be documented
  • 3 to 5 years of tax returns or equivalent financial records
  • Audited business financials (if business is the capital source)
  • Complete paper trail from source to investment account
