Our Commitment
EB5Status publishes data with institutional credibility. That credibility depends entirely on our willingness to acknowledge and correct errors.
We do not hide corrections. We do not quietly update numbers. We do not remove historical records. We publish corrections with the same prominence as the original data, log them publicly, and maintain full version history so that researchers can understand exactly what changed and when.

Types of Corrections
Factual Errors
A data point is incorrect. Resolution: correction published, affected versions incremented.
Methodology Updates
A calculation rested on a false assumption. Resolution: methodology version incremented, both old and new calculations documented.
Source Attribution Fixes
Wrong document cited. Resolution: citation corrected, version note published.
Scope Clarifications
Data was correct but applicability was unclear. Resolution: scope note published, pages updated.
How Corrections Affect Versioning
Dataset versions (eb5_datasets_v{YYYY}.{MM}.{seq}) increment when factual data is corrected or methodology requires recalculation.
Methodology versions (calculations_v{major}.{minor}) increment when formulas change (major) or parameters change (minor).
