About

How this dashboard works, what it covers, and what it does not.

Purpose

EB5 Status is a free, independent reference site that organizes publicly available data about the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program. We compile visa bulletin dates, processing time estimates, FOIA-sourced statistics, and program updates from U.S. government agencies into an accessible format for immigration professionals, researchers, and individuals navigating the EB-5 process. EB5 Status is not a law firm, financial advisor, or immigration consultancy. We do not recommend specific investments, regional centers, or legal strategies. Our mission is transparency: making government data easier to find, read, and understand.

Disclaimers

No Legal or Investment Advice

This dashboard is for educational and informational purposes only. It does not constitute legal, immigration, or investment advice. Consult a qualified immigration attorney or investment advisor before making any decisions.

Data Accuracy

Data is sourced from public USCIS FOIA releases and may be subject to revision. We are not responsible for errors, omissions, or changes made by the source agencies.

No Guarantee of Completeness

This dashboard presents aggregated public data. Individual case outcomes depend on factors not reflected in aggregate statistics. Past performance does not indicate future results.

Use Limitations

Provided as-is for lawful use only. Users are solely responsible for their interpretation and use of this information.

Privacy

Contains no personal information. Individual names, addresses, or case details are never displayed or stored. All data is aggregated at country and category levels.

Known Limitations

USCIS data typically has a 30 to 60 day reporting lag. The Infrastructure category reports zero across all metrics in this FOIA extract, which may reflect coding issues rather than actual zero activity.

Backlog estimates are calculated as receipts minus adjudicated and do not account for withdrawn cases or administrative closures. TEA category definitions may change over time, so historical comparisons should be interpreted with care.

The "Jul 2025" filing bucket represents a single month, not a full quarter. Percentages are rounded for display; precise values are available in the downloadable data.
