The unreserved Final Action Date sits at approximately September 2016, which means investors filing today in the unreserved category face a wait of roughly 9 to 10 years for visa availability. That is not a viable immigration plan for most families. But the reserved categories have rewritten the equation. Rural, HUA, and infrastructure set asides are all current for China.
