September 30, 2026 is six months away. If you have not filed your I-526E petition yet, this is the date that determines whether you invest $800,000 or roughly $900,000. File a "properly filed" petition on or before that date and you lock in today's TEA minimum. File after, and the CPI-U adjustment formula written into the statute pushes the floor up by approximately $100,000. This is a filing guide, not an overview.
